Building things that connect people. Budapest · Busan · Somewhere in between.

About

I've lived in three countries, studied in two languages, and grown up between cultures. Born in Busan, raised partly in Malaysia, educated in Korea, and now in Budapest, I've spent most of my life figuring out how to belong somewhere new.

What I kept finding, everywhere I went, is that communication is what makes that possible. Not just language, but the stories people tell, the images they share, the news they trust. I got interested in how media shapes what we believe, and started asking: what happens when that breaks down?

So I built an app to filter misinformation. I taught photography to adults with disabilities. I hosted a rock festival. I made candles to raise money for people in need. These things aren't random. They're all about how we share meaning with each other.
